To be a member of the Grassroots of Tarboro, you need simply to attend our planning meetings and/or participate in any of our projects or events. Well-behaved children are always welcome.

  • Thursday, May 8, 6:00 pm - Edgecombe County Memorial Library - Main St. Tarboro. General Planning Meeting for Tarboro 2nd Saturdays and ongoing projects.
  • Sunday, May 11, 5:30 pm - Back door of The Unusual Shoppe (on the courthouse square).      Pot Luck Supper & T2S discussion. Bring the family, vegetarians will not starve.  Great food, great friends, great conversation.  If it's raining, meet in the big room at the Underground Pub.
  • Monday, May 12, 7:00 pm - Town Hall on Main Street (2nd floor) - Monthly Town Council Meeting. Milton Bullock will be presenting on behalf of G.O.T., our T2S proposal requesting council permission to use the courthouse square and Riverside Park for music, vendors and activities for upcoming monthly T2S events through December 2008. Your attendance at this meeting is appreciated.
